Prague Rhythm Kings
The Prague Rhythm Kings Orchestra is again holding a concert of music from the 1920s – 1930s in the cubist Grand Café Orient on November 21, 2026.
We would like to invite you to a unique cultural event – the First Republic Evening. For your entertainment and dancing, two orchestras will play – jazz and swing, there will also be a three-course menu with a welcome drink. Everything will be framed by an attraction program with a demonstration of period dances and, for those interested, their instruction and introduction to the nightlife of the First Republic. A fashionable café environment, guaranteed authentic jazz rhythms, prompt service, moderate prices. Don’t hesitate, tickets are running out. A lecture by architect Zdeněk Lukeš about the architect Otakar Novotný will be held at the Grand Café Orient on May 13, 2025 from 7:00 p.m.

SWING MELODY
The Grand Café Orient will host a concert by the SWING MELODY orchestra – Swing music of the 1930s and 1940s on April 24, 2025, starting at 7:00 p.m. The concert will be held on the 120th anniversary of the death of J. Voskovec and J. Werich. And the 20th anniversary of the Grand Café Orient.
